Personal Information. We collect personal information including but not limited to email, first and last name (collectively, “Personal Data“).
Non-Personal Information. SoHalo uses Google Analytics to help analyze how visitors use the Site and the Blog. The tool uses “cookies,“ which are text files placed on your computer, to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form (collectively, “Non-Personal Data”).
How We Use Information
Personal Data is used to guide further enhancements to SoHalo’s products and services and to respond to individual requests sent via the “Contact Us” form available on the Site.
Non Personal Data is used to evaluate visitors’ use of the website and to compile statistical reports on the activity on the SoHalo Site and Blog.
How We Share Information
The Non Personal Data generated by Google Analytics about your use of the website (including IP address) is transmitted to Google.
We will not share, rent or sell your information with third parties unless it is expressly authorized or directed by you. We may share the information we collect from and about you with third parties in the following instances:
(a) As necessary, if we believe that there has been a violation of our terms for the Service or of our rights or the rights of any third party;
(b) As necessary, to identify, investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities or suspected fraud or other abuse of the Services;
(c) To respond to judicial process and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; and
(d) In the event that SoHalo goes through a business transaction, such as a merger, an acquisition by another company, or a sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be one of the transferred assets.
Children. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from persons under 13 years of age, and no part of the Site or Service is directed to persons under 13. If we learn that personally identifiable information of persons less than 13 years of age has been collected without verifiable parental consent, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete such information.
Security. SoHalo takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security through various hardware and software methodologies. However, we cannot ensure or warrant against all risks with regards to the security of that information, so information you choose to transmit to SoHalo and which we store is provided to us at your own risk and SoHalo does not guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our safeguards. In addition other Internet sites or services that may be accessible through SoHalo have separate data and privacy practices independent of us, and therefore we disclaim any responsibility or liability for their policies or actions.
